Joanne Forsyth - principal

Joanne earned her M.B.A from The Anderson School at UCLA with an emphasis in marketing. Joanne brings a team oriented management style to Blackman and Forsyth. Her experience leading multi-functional product teams and tracking development schedules translates well to the relocation project management consulting business. Her organization and people skills are critical assets to Blackman & Forsyth. Joanne serves as President of Blackman & Forsyth overseeing all relocation projects and firms operations.

Stacey Frizzell - relocation project manager

Stacey has a demonstrated history working in the mental health care industry, bringing a key strength to client relations. As a collaborative team member, her management style allows for one’s move to become a seamless experience. Stacey’s work on many individual renovation projects additionally provides her with skill sets for problem solving, processing, and thinking analytically regardless of the requirements and logistics thrown her way. Understanding and adhering to a company’s unique needs is her expertise, and in turn, she always provides the businesses she works for with the meticulous service they desire.


jo chin - relocation project & Operations manager

Jo comes to Blackman & Forsyth with a hospitality mindset and extensive experience in facilities and operations management. She is well versed in the ins and outs of relocation, both from the client and vendor sides, and is a resourceful problem solver. Jo excels in catering her communication to fit various audiences. Whatever the size of the project, Jo brings authentic leadership, enthusiasm, and meticulous client focus to provide a seamless end user experience while getting a project across the finish line.

Our team of trained site supervisors is exceptional. Blackman & Forsyth site supervisors augment the planning team during the move implementation window. Origin and destination site supervisors work with client and vendor contacts to successfully achieve relocation goals. Our site supervisors provide detailed oversight to ensure an organized and seamless transition into the new workspace.

bARBARA Blackman - founder, retired

After nearly 30 years of dedication to the many clients of the firm, as of the 1st of January 2021 Barbara Blackman has retired. Barbara founded Blackman & Forsyth, in 1991, then as Blackman & Holberton, and served a wide variety of distinguished clients over that 30-year period. Barbara built the firm around a focus on personal service, and collegiality, an approach that resulted in many successful projects and repeat clients. Blackman & Forsyth maintains the culture of personal service that Barbara modeled. In her retirement Barbara looks forward to building a new agenda around family and particularly her grandchildren.
